Hiroko Shiina at Affordable Art Fair Battersea Autumn 2026
15–18 October 2026
Battersea Park, London
Stand K6
Gallery G-77 is pleased to welcome Hiroko Shiina back to Affordable Art Fair Battersea, presenting a selection of new works in London this autumn.
Shiina creates intricate, surreal compositions characterised by meticulous detail and symbolic imagery. Many of her works are drawn against black velvet backgrounds and incorporate motifs associated with Vanitas and Memento Mori, including flowers, thorns, skulls, skeletons and the human body.
Her work explores the boundaries between reality, memory and dream, bringing together beauty, mortality and the transience of human experience. Her visual language draws on artistic traditions including Japanese ukiyo-e prints and Kusōzu paintings, while developing a highly individual contemporary practice.
Gallery G-77 will present Shiina’s new works at Affordable Art Fair Battersea Autumn 2026.
