Gallery G-77 is pleased to present "Postbotanica," an exhibition by Israeli

photographers Anna Hayat and Slava Pirsky, as part of KG+ (Kyotographie 2025).

This exhibition redefines our relationship with nature through large-format Polaroid

photographs, focusing on the forms of dried botanical elements. By embracing the

unique textures of vintage Polaroid film, the works highlight imperfections and

transformations, offering a fresh perspective on floral imagery.

Nature is portrayed as an independent force, challenging human-centered

aesthetics. The physical characteristics of dried plants—such as cracks, folds, and

deterioration—emerge as symbols of resilience and transformation, evoking a sense

of fragile yet powerful beauty.
