Gallery G-77 is pleased to present Sayumi Kudo at Affordable Art Fair Battersea Autumn 2026 in London.
Working with an exceptionally fine 0.03 mm pigment pen, Kudo builds her drawings through countless delicate lines. Enigmatic female figures appear alongside wolves, butterflies, celestial and natural motifs, creating intricate worlds in which myth, memory and imagination intertwine.
The accumulation of fine lines creates remarkable depth and texture, giving her drawings an almost painterly quality. Her female figures shift between vulnerability and strength, while the surrounding motifs suggest stories that remain open to interpretation.
Kudo received the Grand Prize at the ARK Art Award 2024 and the Grand Prix at ACI AUDITION 2025.
Gallery G-77 will present a selection of her recent works in London.
