Gallery G-77 is pleased to present The Boundary Line of Evolution – FUWA FUWA, a new exhibition by Yasuyo. In this body of work, Yasuyo explores the fluid territory between abstraction and figuration. For the artist, the inner realm of sensation and the visible world are not opposites but states in continuous movement. The boundary of evolution appears not as a fixed line, but as something light, permeable and in transition. Drawing from her background as an illustrator while deepening her engagement with painterly gesture, Yasuyo builds compositions through layered colour, rhythm and surface tension. Forms emerge and dissolve, hovering in a condition of softness — fuwa fuwa — where strength and fragility coexist. Life, in her vision, is at once powerful and ephemeral, and painting becomes a way to hold this paradox in the present moment.
