In this work, Nishijima is inspired by the anime character Astro Boy (Atom-chan), whose humanism is defined not by power, but by sensitivity and kindness.
By combining traditional imagery and materials with semiconductor motifs and a contemporary visual language, the artist presents a vision in which technology and culture coexist through care, empathy, and respect for life.
