Akiko Kawabata UTAKATA - A World Like a Bubble
Utakata is an old Japanese word for something fleeting, appearing and disappearing like a bubble.
In her new works, Akiko Kawabata captures moments when colour, form and fragments briefly come together before shifting again. Through collage, she gives these disappearing impressions another form, creating works that move between intention and unexpected discovery.

Yuriko Yamamoto“Hikari-Tsugi”Light Mending
Gallery G-77 presents Hikari-tsugi (Light Mending) by Yuriko Yamamoto. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of kintsugi, the exhibition explores trauma, loss, and spiritual regeneration through light. Illuminated sculptural objects transform absence into new forms of connection, inviting viewers to reflect on resilience, memory, and the possibility of reconnecting what has been lost.
